Creative sliders, popcorn chicken, and mocktails — casual dining steps from the Haram
Published 15 March 2025
At a glance
When you've had enough kabsa and shawarma and just want a burger, Salt is the answer. Walking distance from the Haram, recently opened, and already a go-to for casual dining.
What to order
Sliders — Salt's signature. Choose from classic beef, chicken, and fish options. Served in sets with well-seasoned patties and creative toppings. The beef sliders are the most popular.
Popcorn Chicken — crispy, perfectly seasoned, and seriously addictive. One of the best things on the menu.
Mocktails — Salt does a solid range of mocktails that go well with the food. A nice change from the usual soft drinks.
Ice cream — worth it if you have a sweet tooth.
Our take
Fills a real gap near the Haram. Quality is a clear step above fast food. Sometimes after days of heavy rice dishes, a good slider and a mocktail is exactly what you need. Located in the same building as Joe & The Juice, so you can grab a fresh juice on the way out.
