The Haramain High-Speed Railway connects Makkah to Madinah via Jeddah and King Abdullah Economic City (KAEC). It's the fastest and most comfortable way to travel between the two holy cities.

How to book

Important: Tickets sell out quickly during Ramadan, Hajj season, and school holidays. Book at least 3-5 days in advance during peak periods.

The Makkah station

The Makkah station is located at Al-Rusaifah, about 20 minutes from the Haram by car. Getting there:

Taxi/ride-hailing: 20-30 SAR from central Makkah, about 15-20 minutes
The station is modern with prayer rooms, shops, and food outlets
Arrive at least 30 minutes before departure
